About the Film:

Part of the Bollywood Film Festival 2018

Directed by Anurag Kashyap. 2017. India. 145 min. Hindi with English subtitles.
Shravan Singh (Vineet Singh) is a an aspiring boxer who trains in a gym controlled by the oppressive Bhagwan Das Mishra (Jimmy Shergill). When Shravan meets the mute Sunaina, in a break-out performance by Zoya Hussain, it’s love at first sight. Sunaina is a warm-hearted woman, but she’s also the niece of Mishra. Obstacles form in his path as Shravan tries to further his boxing career and eventually marry the woman he loves. Don’t miss this highly anticipated love story and critique on Indian intolerance from director Anurag Kashyap with a soundtrack (by first-time composer Rachita Arora) that packs a punch.
