Book Club: This Life I've Loved by Isobel Field
Wednesday Jun 26 01:00 PM Saturday Jun 29 01:00 PM
Honolulu Museum of Art
Artist and writer Isobel Field’s eventful life unfolds in her autobiography—from her birth in Indiana to her time in Samoa, where she was secretary to her stepfather Robert Louis Stevenson. Field even lived in Hawai‘i for a spell with her then husband Robert Strong. Her work is included in the museum’s permanent collection. Led by docents Dietra Cordea and Kaui Philpotts.
The museum's Book Club tour is held the last Wednesday and Saturday of each month, 1-3pm. For this two-hour docent-led experience, books are selected to connect with the museum’s works of art.
Participants discuss the book in a relevant gallery.
Free with museum admission.
