Event Information:
Join docents Bill and Karlyn Pearl for a themed tour, followed by an art discussion. Visitors meet the docent at the entrance to the museum.
The tour starts with the “Portals of the Universe” as depicted in the Hawaiian islands' beautiful religious and cultural works, then moves to the Doris Duke Islamic Gallery, and continues on to encompass the gifts that India birthed—Hindu and Buddhist art—and concludes with selections from Jewish and Christian religious art.
